Since 2011, the Ministry of Health has introduced control on analogues of specific molecules. For instance, analogues of the structure resulting from 3-phenylacetylindole or from 3-(1-Naphthoyl)indole were added to the list of controlled substances contained in the Decree n 309 of 1990, in 2011 (See G.U. Serie Generale, n. 112 del 16 maggio 2011). Later on, other analogues were also included: certain analogues derived from cathinone and analogue structures resulting from 3-benzoylindole were added to Table I in 2012 (See G.U. Serie Generale, n. 3 del 04 gennaio 2012.
