Analogues of controlled substances have also been included in the list of controlled substances contained in Cabinet regulation No. 847 of 2005, "Regulations Regarding Narcotic Substances, Psychotropic Substances and Precursors to be Controlled in Latvia". The regulation includes a list of prohibited especially dangerous narcotic substances and equivalent psychotropic substances and plants. Several new psychoactive substances are listed therein, as well as its analogues.
