A number of groups of synthetic cannabinoids have been put under control, adding them to schedules 1,2,5,6,7,8 of Law 14/1995 concerning countering narcotic and psychotropic substances, in addition to varied metabolites of these substances. A collection of all non medically used synthetic cannabinoids based on the chemical composition of each substance has been added to schedule 1 of narcotic substances of Law 14/1995 (naphthoylindoles, naphthylmethylindoles, metabolites Naphthoylpyrroles, Naphthylmethylindenes & metabolites, Phenylacetylindoles, Cyclohexylphenols, Classical cannabinoids), while a collection of all medically used synthetic cannabinoids based on the chemical composition of each substance has been added to schedule 6 of narcotic substances of same law (nabylone). (This information is preliminar and may change significantly upon confirmation from the Government). Benzodiazepines such as diclazepam, etizolam, flubromazepam, and pyrazolam have also been placed under national control.
