UTRECHT, The Netherlands – May 2015: The Dutch Drug Information and Monitoring System (DIMS), a project coordinated by the Trimbos Institute, published an alert at the beginning of April that they identified different NBOMe-variants (namely 25I-NBOMe, 25C-NBOMe and 25H-NBOMe) in two powders sold as 2C-B.
The DIMS warned of the unintentional and therefore life-threatening administration of excessive dosages of NBOMes under the circumstances prevailing.
Since 2010, 15 different substances from the NBOMe-series were reported to the UNODC EWA by 48 different Member States from the Americas, Asia, Europe and Oceania. Between 2012 and 2014, among all countries reporting NBOMe-variants, most of them reported 25I-NBOMe (49 %), followed by 25C-NBOMe (44%) and 25B-NBOMe (31 %). 25H-NBOMe was the fourth most reported substances (17%).
