Gender Equality

The United Nations-wide Gender Parity Strategy sets targets for equal representation of women and men. The office's efforts to achieve gender balance are based upon the UNOV/UNODC Gender Strategy 2022-2026. The overarching target is to achieve parity within the organization and promote gender mainstreaming under the organization's mandate.

In order to strengthen geographical diversity amongst UNODC staff, the office has implemented the UN Secretariat's Geographical Diversity Strategy and an organisation-specific Geography Action Plan.
