Asia and the Pacific

EU-UNODC cooperation currently spans Central Asia, South Asia, Southeast Asia, East Asia, and the Pacific sub-regions, representing the second most important region in the joint project portfolio. Projects targeting Asia and the Pacific address criminal justice, wildlife and environmental crime, terrorism prevention, and corruption priorities. Asian countries are also engaged in trans-regional programmes on challenges such as human trafficking and migrant smuggling and violence against children by terrorist and violent extremist groups.
