International standard

The United Nations Convention against Corruption is a legally-binding standard for international anti-corruption measures. It covers a wide variety of areas related to corruption, including corruption in the judiciary (Article 11). Article 11 underscores improving judicial integrity through means such as ensuring proper behaviour of judges, while maintaining the independence of the judiciary.
