Preventing and Countering Terrorism

UNODC aims to improve the efficiency of the entire criminal justice process related to counter-terrorism (CT), whilst meeting adhering to international legal and normative standards. We also intends to enact protection-oriented frameworks to improve support for the survivors of terrorism. Youth and community engagement is the cornerstone of preventive efforts under this component. The programme also aims to improve institutional capacity in countering terrorism financing and International Cooperation.
