Training Session on "Administrative Management, Managing Audit and Accounts" for Prosecutors

4 September 2018, Peshawar - The United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) organized a one-day Training Session on "Administrative Management; Managing Audit and Accounts" in Peshawar for 30 district level Prosecutors. This training session is the first of a series of sessions aimed to train District Public Prosecutors (DPP) on improving their skills and knowledge for developing district budgets along with building their capacity on organizational and administrative management skills.   

The training was designed with an approach to assist the prosecutors understand various day-to-day tasks related to office management, financial management, auditing, budgeting and procurement based on the rules of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Public Procurement Regulatory Authority (KPPRA).

The session comprised of a series of presentations which was followed by practical group exercises in which prosecutors were required to prepare district levels budgets within certain limitations.

Towards the end of the session, participants were asked to fill out post-assessment survey to assist UNODC and the Prosecution Department of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa capture their understanding and expectations related to the training session.  

The training was made possible with the support of the European Union under the framework of Pakistan's Action to Counter Terrorism (PACT) Project.
