What are the eligibility criteria and requirements? |
The mandatory requirements for eligibility are the following: Only Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) based in East Africa can apply, namely Burundi, Djibouti, Ethiopia, Kenya, Rwanda, South Sudan, Tanzania, and Uganda. Additionally, the CSO cannot be registered less than two years before the date of the application. CSOs are defined as not-for-profit organizations including Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs), community groups, trade unions, indigenous groups, charitable organizations, faith-based organizations, professional associations and foundations. Businesses are not included in this category. Only one application per organization will be considered All applications are required to submit the following documents as part of the proposal to be eligible: -Project proposal application form (template provided);

How to apply? |
Fill in the below project proposal and budget forms, as well as an organization registration certificate and audited financial statements for the last two years, and send to unodc-cstgrants@un.org, with UNODC East Africa Small Grants Scheme marked in the subject line, before the 30 June 2019. Kindly note that only fully completed applications with both documents received before the deadline will be considered. |
