Cross-border criminal justice cooperation
Organized crime groups and criminals in East Asia and the Pacific generate billions per year in revenues, and international cooperation among judicial, prosecutorial, and law enforcement authorities is increasingly essential. Although the ASEAN Mutual Legal Assistance Treaty (MLAT) has recently been ratified by a number of ASEAN Member States.
