What will I learn at the Workshop? |
The Workshop will focus on the United Nations Convention against Corruption (UNCAC) and its Review Mechanism. As such, the objectives of the training sessions will be to: - Equip participants with the substantive expertise in UNCAC provisions; Check out the web story published on the occasion of our last Workshop and take a look at the presentations delivered by our trainers. The Workshop will be conducted in English and French. |

I already participated in a workshop, can I still apply? |
Priority will be given to representatives and/or organizations that did not participate in a previous workshop. We however count on you to disseminate it to your CSOs network and to keep us updated on the anti-corruption activities of your organization! |

When will I know if my organization/I have been selected? |
Once your complete application has been received (filed out application form and CV of the person who will attend), we will acknowledge the reception of your documents. The selection process will start after the deadline for the call for application. Based on the eligibility criteria and requirements listed in the Application Guide and Application form, your application will be evaluated and we will inform you of our decision in due time and by 30 July 2016 at the latest. |

My organization/ I have been selected to participate in the workshop… |
Can I do something prior the Workshop to get the most out of it during my participation? |
Yes. We strongly recommend you to consult the UNODC webpage and specifically the UNODC webpage on corruption, as well as our publications and tools which also includes TRACK: the online resource centre of UNODC. We also invite you to consult the following website and to select your Country's Profile to consult the Executive summary of your country review. In addition, we recommend to consult the website of the UNCAC Coalition and specifically its Resources webpage which displays a Guide on using the UNCAC to advance anti-corruption efforts as well as a Guide on the UNCAC and the Private Sector. The Civil Society Team will also share with selected participants a preparatory assignment to be completed some weeks before the Workshop will be held. |

Will I get a Certificate? |
If you have completed the preparatory assignment and attended all the training sessions of the Workshop, you will receive a Certificate attesting your participation at the Workshop at the end. |

Who will take care of my visa? |
Participants will need to go through the steps and cover the costs of obtaining their Schengen Visa on their own. To check if you have an Austrian Representation in your country, kindly consult this website. Should you not have an Austrian Representation, please refer to the Representations by Schengen Partner listed on this website. You should directly pay the fee for your visa. The Daily Subsistence Allowance (DSA) that will be distributed to concerned participants during the Workshop should however cover a posteriori this expense. The Civil Society Team (CST) will be sending an official invitation letter to the selected representative in order to facilitate the visa process. Representatives should liaise as soon as possible with us to let us know that they have obtained their visa or in case they have difficulties with obtaining it. |

Do I need a Travel Insurance and if yes, who will take care of it? |
Yes. It is mandatory for obtaining a Shengen Visa to contract a travel, health and accident insurance (limit of liability at least 30.000 Euro and return journey) valid for the Schengen Area. It remains your own responsibility and should be directly paid by you. The Daily Subsistence Allowance (DSA) that will be distributed to concerned participants during the Workshop should however cover a posteriori this expense. |

Who will take care of my travel to Austria and the return to my country? |
The Civil Society Team will liaise with you regularly to keep you informed on the steps to follow regarding your travel. The Team will take care of booking your flight tickets, cover this expense and therefore send you an e-ticket in due time. In order to do so, the Team will however request you to send a scanned copy of your passport and fill out two documents ("Personal Information for Flight Reservation" and "Acknowledgment letter") that will be sent to you in due time. Your responsiveness will be crucial to facilitate those logistics arrangements. Please note that any costs regarding changes to the confirmed flight tickets will be the responsibility of the participant. |
