October 2014 - UNODC-EWA: 25I-NBOMe is the most reported substance in 2014

Since the beginning of the year, 23 countries and territories reported the emergence of NPS to the UNODC EWA. By September 2014, the phenethylamine 25I-NBOMe (a) was the most frequently reported NPS to the UNODC EWA with 43% of all reportings, followed by the phenethylamine 25C-NBOMe (b) and the synthetic cathinone, methylone (c), both of which were reported by an equal number of countries (40%). These were followed by the synthetic cannabinoids AKB48 (APINACA) (d) and MAM-2201 (e), both reported by 35% of all countries and territories.
