She has been part of UNODC since 2004, where she has worked both in the field network in Kenya and South Africa and at its headquarters in Vienna. More recently, she served as Deputy Regional Representative at the Regional Office for Eastern Africa. Before joining the management team of this organization, she held various roles, including advisor, expert, program coordinator, and pillar head, applying UNODC’s mandate in health and social development. This included HIV/AIDS prevention, treatment, care, and support for people who use drugs and those living and working in prison environments, as well as UNODC’s response in drug prevention, treatment, and care.
