UNODC provides a wide range of tailored technical assistance activities to countries with a view to strengthening their responses to preventing and combating crime.
On the basis of requests from States and taking into account their individual needs, UNODC provides legislative advice and legal drafting support, training and capacity-building activities, or assistance in the development of national policies and strategies. Given its central role in the fight against crime, effective international cooperation is often the central topic of technical assistance projects and activities.
