UNODC has participated in the destruction of 10,745 firearms from the "National Voluntary Surrender of Firearms Program", this nationwide program is part of a comprehensive policy for the control and prevention of armed violence, aiming to reduce the circulation of weapons among civilians and contribute in the reduction of violence in Argentina.
