Vienna, 8 March 2020 - The UNODC Executive Director, Ms.Ghada Waly, provides a statement
for the occassion of International Women's Day 2021. She highlights how increasing women's representation and leadership in
law enforcement and the judiciary have been linked to more investigations into crimes against women, better policing outcomes,
and succesful victim-centred approaches.
