The MENTHOR project is led by UNODC's Human Trafficking and Migrant Smuggling Section (HTMSS), and implemented in partnership with the Department of Public Security of the Organization of American States (DPS/OAS); with the support of the UNODC Regional Office for Central America and the Caribbean.
The team will work in coordination with the relevant Honduran authorities, namely the Institute for Studies of the Public Affairs Ministry of Honduras; the Unit Against Trafficking, Commercial Sexual Exploitation and Human Trafficking (UTESCTP); and the Commission against Sexual and Commercial Exploitation and Trafficking in Persons in Honduras (CICEST).
Together, the partners will develop and implement a dedicated Training and Mentoring Program, specialized in Human Trafficking, for the Public Ministry of Honduras.
