The Civil Society Team (CST) is pleased to inform Non-governmental Organizations (NGOs) that the Tenth Session of the Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Convention against Transnational Organized Crime (COP UNTOC) will be held from 12 to 16 October 2020 in Vienna, Austria.
This intergovernmental Conference will discuss, among other things, the implementation of the Convention and its three Protocols, namely the Protocol to Prevent, Suppress and Punish Trafficking in Persons; the Protocol against the Smuggling of Migrants by Land, Sea and Air; and the Protocol against the Illicit Manufacturing of and Trafficking in Firearms.

Interested non-governmental organizations (NGOs) without ECOSOC consultative status, as per paragraph 2 of rule 17, are welcome to apply by filling out the contact details form and writing an application letter (in English only) and returning them both to unodc-ngounit@un.org by midnight Vienna time Friday, 8 May 2020 (extended).
NGOs with ECOSOC consultative status, as per paragraph 1 of rule 17, are also welcome to apply by filling out the contact details form and writing an application letter (in English only) and returning them both to untoc.cop@un.org by midnight Vienna time Friday, 8 May 2020.

We recommend that you apply upon receiving this call, even if your participation is not yet certain, as there will not be the possibility to apply at a later stage. Please note that the application letter should be placed on a letterhead of your organization and signed by the Head of your organization. The contact form should be filled out in Word format (not pdf or fax) so as to facilitate a timely processing of all requests.
