| UN Launches New Web Site on Drugs and Crime: Revamped User-Friendly Design is "loaded with information" | ||||

VIENNA, 4 December (UN Information Service) -- The United Nations Office for Drug Control and Crime Prevention (ODCCP) today launched its new web site at www.odccp.org. "The new ODCCP web site is user-friendly and loaded with information for scholars, journalists and casual web-surfers," said UN Under-Secretary-General, Pino Arlacchi, Executive Director of the Vienna-based Office. The redesigned web site has added thousands of new pages, including hundreds of new pictures and graphs. The home page includes a rotating story board and direct links to each of ODCCP's 22 field and liaison office web sites around the world. Special sections include: "News and Publications", "Drug Abuse and Demand Reduction", "Drug Supply Reduction", "Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice", "Treaty and Legal Affairs" and "Analysis and Statistics." ***** | ||||
