This Special Event to launch the UNODC Global Report on Trafficking in Persons 2022 aims to foster discussion on strengthening responses to trafficking in persons in the context of the multiple challenges facing our World today, ranging from Economic Crisis and Conflict to continuing impacts of the COVID-19 Pandemic and Climate Change. The event will feature a presentation of the main findings of this 7th Edition of the Office’s Flagship Report. Speakers – including criminal justice practitioners and trafficking survivors – will discuss the responses and technical assistance needed to better prevent and address this crime, and support victims.
