The session showed experiences of implementation of Education for Justice tools in Peru, highlighting the strategy of political advocacy and inter-institutional articulation, the empowerment of young people as agents of change, the strengthening of capacities of community prevention agents and the impact of educational materials on children and adolescents.

Representative for Peru, Ecuador and Southern Cone Countries, UNODC

Postgraduate Program in Political Science at LUISS Guido Carli University in Rome. Postgraduate Program in Development and International Cooperation at the University of the Basque Country in Bilbao. Certification granted by Carleton University of Canada and the World Bank as part of the International Program for Development Assessment Training. He has been the UNODC Representative in Mexico, Bolivia and Iran.

Social communicator with master's studies in communication strategies. He has been coordinator of the Ramón Castilla Movement of the Ministry of the Interior for the prevention of Human Trafficking. He has worked as a communication specialist in the National Commission for Development and Life without Drugs (DEVIDA).

Ulises Huapaya Valverde

Territorial articulator of Multisectoral Strategy Barrio Seguro, Ministerio del Interior, Peru

Social communicator specialized in advertising and marketing. He has worked as a conciliator between companies, local authorities and residents of populated centers. Experience in coordinating actions with local governments and vulnerable populations for the execution of sports activities as a mechanism for change and a vehicle for prevention.

 

Carolina Rivera Lindo

Territorial articulator of Multisectoral Strategy Barrio Seguro, Ministerio del Interior, Peru

Social communicator specialized in organizational communication, graduated from the Master's in Social Policies with a Mention in Management of Social Projects and Diploma in Public Policies and Interculturality. He has worked in the public and private sector, articulating with the State sectors at different levels, has developed social projects at the national level, many of them focused on community intervention; has experience in communication for development, the implementation of public policies and the implementation of strategies for citizen security.

Political Science Professional. She was part of the voluntary group Juventudes para la Seguridad Humana that carried out prevention work for Barrio Seguro in the Municipality of Trujillo.

Promoter of Violence and Crime Prevention, Universidad Nacional de Trujillo, Peru

Anthropologist, athlete and youth leader. She was part of the voluntary group Juventudes para la Seguridad Humana that carried out prevention work for Barrio Seguro in the Municipality of Trujillo.
